I get so many compliments of my ruffled marble bowl, $48-$158. I keep mine on my coffee table, but it looks great on a shelf, used as a catchall in an entryway or bedside table or even a fruit bowl in the kitchen.

The infamous cordless mini lamp, $220. Pricey, it is, but it’s beautiful of Danish design (so you know it’s well made), versatile for any decor style and the charge lasts a full day. Perfect for a dark awkward nook with no outlets (I have many of those!) It comes in other colors.
