The living room in my new house had no obvious place to put a tv so I did my old faithful trick of placing it on an easel, this time, a modern gold one from Ballard Designs. I love that the height is adjustable! One thing I will call out is its limited weight capacity- I originally intended to have our 50″ tv in the living room but it was too heavy for the easel, so that had to go in the bedroom instead and luckily the 32″ tv was a great fit! The jury is out if its compatible with the 43″ size, but according to my research it should work. If you try, please let me know! Here’s the link to the frame I have (the champagne color may be a better match with the easel), but here is an Etsy seller than has some great ones too!
Here are the command clips I used to attach the cord to the back of the easel.

I wanted to make sure we came up with a good way to hide the box and wires, usually I put those things in a basket, but I had this big old vase and I thought it could work! We used a 2.25″ hole saw bit to drill a hole near the bottom of the vase (make sure you wet it with a sponge to keep dust to a minimum), then fed the wires through the hole. The box went in through the top of the vase and voila, no visible wires or boxes!

I’ll be collecting furniture & decor for years to come until this room really feels complete, I definitely think I need a little something to the right of the TV but this set up has worked well for us thus far!
